What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aquatic Center Assistant Manager position at City of Muscatine?
The City is seeking assistant managers for the Aquatic Center for the 2025 summer season. This is a full-time seasonal position from May until early September.
Duties for this position include :
Assisting Aquatic Center Manager in operation of the Muscatine Aquatic Center.
Performing swim tests for patrons who wish to use the slides / diving board.
Assisting in scheduling of Aquatic Center staffing.
Acting as Aquatic Center Manger in his / her absence.
Cleaning of stations after shift / at end of day
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Lifeguard, CPR / AED Certification is required.
Knowledge of swimming is required.
Ability to manage seasonal staff appropriately and safely.
Ability to handle money and assist cashiers when needed.
- Ability to arrive ahead of time or stay late as staffing requirements need.
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent customer service
Hourly rate is $15.00.
