The City of Naperville’s Finance Department is looking for a Part-Time Customer Care Representative to join its multi-tasking customer care team. The Customer Care Representatives provide a high level of customer service to residents over the phone and occasionally in person by answering inquiries and resolving customer concerns related to fees for new and/or existing services with the City. This part-time position is 25 hours per week; scheduled Monday – Friday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Future opportunities for evening, overnight or weekend shifts may be available.The salary for this position is $22.8820 per hour. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
The responsibilities include responding to a high volume of inbound calls (approximately 65 calls per day) while maintaining data in the city databases. Duties include: Maintaining a positive attitude with empathetic and professional communication with customers at all timesPrompt response and resolution of customer inquiries and complaintsCommunicating with customers through various channelsEntering information into city systems with a high degree of accuracyKeeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaintsCollecting related fees for services, adhering to PCI-DSS requirementsCommunicating and coordinating with division colleagues, providing assistance with daily work as needed
