What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Worker - Building Grounds & Maintenance (Collection & Pumping) position at City of Naperville, IL?
- Maintenance of buildings and grounds maintenance.
- Upkeep at all City Collection & Pumping sites (lift stations, bypass pumping sites and storm sewer sites)
- Painting fence repairs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- You will be required to drive daily on City business.
- Be handy with basic hand tools and yard machinery.
- Professional demeanor required in order to represent the City while interacting with residents.
- High school graduate. Some college coursework preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be able to work in outdoor (potentially extreme temperature) conditions, lift. kneel, crouch, stand and walk for significant periods throughout the day.
- Have a valid State of Illinois Class D Driver's License. Applicants should possess a driving history with no moving violations for at least the last twelve (12) months.
