JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position provides various administrative and business support functions for the Division of Public Works, primarily in Parks Department and Recreation Department. Duties to include, but are not limited to; scheduling and coordinating meetings, creating and maintaining “on-call” schedule for foremen, maintain working knowledge of provisions of appropriate collective bargaining agreements, City Charter, and NROs, prepares various documents for the Superintendent and Recreation Administrator, assists in preparation of Summer Fun, provides account clerk and payroll functions. Performs other related duties as assigned. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm, is part of the UAW Clerical & Technical Unit, and provides an excellent work life balance. The position is grade 9, with an hourly wage not to exceed $23.17.
