Include people.Position Overview: Under the direction of the Director of Parks and Recreation, this position is responsible for engaging visitors and sharing the rich history of the historic Doty Cabin and the James Doty Family. The ideal candidate will have a passion for history, strong communication skills, and the ability to create an informative and welcoming experience for guests.Key Responsibilities: Greet and interact with guests and attendees to the Doty CabinConduct informational tours of Doty Cabin, providing history of the James Doty Family, Cabin and City of Neenah.Perform clerical duties – record keeping, collect/submit donations, attendancePerform light housekeeping duties – sweeping floors, interior window cleaning, vacuumingPerform light duty gardening – planting, weeding and pruningPerform Seasonal Opening and Closing of Cabin Duties Host special interest groups and special eventsQualifications: Education: Requires a high school diploma Experience: Demonstrate previous ability to work with the general public and guestsDemonstrate ability to share and interpret historyDemonstrate Interest and knowledge of history related to James Doty and the City of Neenah and/or ability learnSalary and Benefits: Pay Range: $14.00- $15.50 per hour, depending on experience.Application Process: Interested candidates should submit an online application as soon as possible.
