Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. Duties
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Handle tenant inquiries and complaints with professionalism, employing effective conflict management techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of property activities, including data entry for leases, maintenance requests, and financial transactions.
- Implement upselling strategies to maximize occupancy rates and rental income.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to property management, including Section 8 housing guidelines.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair work with contractors and service providers.
- Develop marketing strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing ones.
- Foster positive relationships with tenants through excellent customer service and communication skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of laws governing rental properties and tenant rights.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with tenants and vendors.
- Ability to manage conflicts professionally while maintaining tenant satisfaction.
- Proficient in data entry and record keeping for efficient property management operations.
- Sales experience is a plus, particularly in upselling services or features of the properties managed.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
