The City of New Hope, Tennessee, is currently hiring a

Police Chief

Requirements to Apply :

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be "P.O.S.T Certified" (Peace Officer Standards & Training).
Have 3 years experience.
Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Must pass a Psychiatrics evaluation.
Excellent physical condition and stamina to perform required duties effectively.

Key Qualifications :

Good communication skills.

Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure, make quick, sound decisions in stressful situations.

Ability to work smoothly as part of a team and / or with other law enforcement agencies.

Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality.

Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekend and holidays when required.

Starting Salary is $50,000.
