Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal/Sign Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various welding techniques, semiskilled and skilled work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of street traffic signs and standard; and related work as required.
Duties
- Fabricate metal components according to blueprints and schematics.
- Utilize tools such as calipers and press brake machines for precise measurements and bending operations.
- Assemble metal structures by rigging and using cranes as needed.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in metal fabrication, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.
- Proficiency in welding techniques, particularly FCAW and Stick welding.
- Familiarity with machining processes and the ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Experience operating cranes and press brake machines is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a current Louisiana Driver's License.*
Two (2) years of experience in the field of maintenance or general repair work requiring the use of common hand tools performing machine or manual tasks involving production, construction, or maintenance repair operations.

Pay: $36,000.00 per year
