New Ulm Public Utilities is hiring a Water/Steam Department Supervisor to oversee the operation and maintenance of the municipal water and steam utility systems. This role ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards while managing personnel, budgets, and system performance. Responsibilities include supervising daily operations, monitoring infrastructure, enforcing safety protocols, and planning long-term improvements.
The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), four years of experience in a public water system (with at least one year in a supervisory role), a valid MN driver’s license, and a Class B Water Operator’s Certificate. An AAS degree and steam system experience are preferred.
Position Pay range is between $46.26 - $59.36 per hour (Exempt).
