Job Description:
As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our agency's procurement processes are fair, transparent, and compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet agency goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business opportunities and develop RFPs/RFQs.
- Evaluate bids and proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
- Provide technical assistance to contractors and vendors on contracting processes and requirements.
- Conduct regular monitoring and reporting to ensure compliance with contracting policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- A baccalaureate degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- At least four years of full-time experience in contract administration, procurement, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
