The City of Newnan is seeking the best candidate for a Facility Attendant to join our Leisure Services Department.
Under the supervision of the Leisure Services Director, Facility Attendant performs manual work in the maintenance and cleaning of community parks and facilities, grounds upkeep, restocking supplies, and related work as apparent or assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lock and unlock park restrooms and facilities doors for regular and special events.
Perform regular cleanings of restroom/facility fixtures, floors, windows, mirrors and other areas as necessary.
Set up, arrange tables and chairs to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.
Monitor facilities during special events, banquets and meetings.
Maintain cleanliness of assigned work vehicles and area.
Keep records of work completed and maintenance required for facilities department.
Interact and assist guests and visitors providing information and support for facilities, serving as an ambassador to City of Newnan's community parks and facilities.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Due to the nature of the job, must be able to work alternating shifts and flexible hours to include nights, weekends and Holidays as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED and minimal experience in general custodial and grounds maintenance including the operation of motorized equipment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to lift 30-50 lbs
- Valid Driver's License required
Candidate must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screenings to include motor vehicle history, criminal background and drug screening.
Rate of pay based on experience and qualifications.
