Currently the Public Works Department is seeking one full-time Management Analyst to join the team. The selected candidate will plan, organize, and report the activities of the Urban Stormwater/National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Program and other environmental programs. Additionally, this position ensures the City’s compliance with federal and state environmental regulations pertaining to water quality.
SELECTION COMPONENTS:
- Application Evaluation: Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis with the first review date of February 28, 2025. - Interview: Those candidates deemed most qualified as reflected in their application will be invited to an in-person interview tentatively scheduled for March 25, 2025. Passing applicants will be placed on an eligibility list that may be used to fill future vacancies as they occur.
- This position may work a 5/40 or 9/80 schedule.

RETIREMENT:
The City offers an excellent benefit package and membership in the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS). The retirement formula is based on appointment date and membership status with CalPERS and the employee may be required to contribute 11.5% of pay towards their retirement benefit.

A combination of experience and education that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities may be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Experience: Three years of increasingly responsible professional level administrative experience.
Education: Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business or public administration or a related field.
License/Certificate: Due to the performance of some field duties which require the operation of a personal or City vehicle, a valid and appropriate California driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required.
