Description
The Norfolk Sheriff's Office is seeking a Case Manager I to join their team. In this position, the Case Manager I provides case management and related services in various human service areas.
The Norfolk Sheriffs Office is a values-driven organization committed to public safety, public service, and public trust. Sheriff Joe Barons motto is the NSO should serve in the spirit of the Golden Rule : treat others the way we wish to be treated. The Sheriff's Office has different responsibilities compared to the Norfolk Police Department. We serve our community by running the Norfolk City Jail, courthouse security, and delivering legal papers, like evictions and subpoenas.
The NSO team is committed to providing crime prevention and services for seniors and kids in Norfolk. We are proud to have numerous programs to give inmates second chances, including allowing non-violent inmates to work in the community, and at local businesses.
The Sheriff is dedicated to improving the morale of our deputies, who work hard every day to maintain our citys jail. Deputies are responsible for the safety and security of nearly 1,000 inmates on a daily basis.
