Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent knowledge of the operations of a Golf Pro Shop.
Knowledge: Gain a working knowledge of the golf system computer software. Ability to deal effectively and cooperatively with the public.
Skills: Must have good oral communication skills. Interpersonal skills necessary to be courteous of fellow employees and customers while performing duties.
Mental and Physical Abilities: Ability to maintain regular, predictable and punctual attendance. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail. Ability to lift and carry light (up to 25lb.) supplies, materials and equipment frequently. Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy (25-50lb) supplies, materials and equipment occasionally. Work requires continued walking.

Duties And Responsibilities
Essential Functions: Opens and Closes Pro Shop. Receives and records revenues for green fees, cart rentals, club rentals, club repairs, locker rentals, range balls, and pro shop merchandise. Responds to questions from the public in person, over the phone and computer regarding golf course and associated activities and programs. Schedules Tee Times; assist customers in shop. Assists in the organization and operation of golf tournaments. Ensures cleanliness of golf shop, premises and golf carts. Monitors and enforces rules pertaining to golf course policies. Performs other related duties as required.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed indoors; however, time is spent outside
