Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct lifeguard staff
- Perform lifeguard duties as needed
- Maintain proper pool chemistry and operating equipment
- Ensure a clean and safe aquatics facility
Qualifications
- American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification or equivalent
- American Red Cross Water Safety and Lifeguard Instructor Certifications or equivalent within 6 months
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a lifeguard and 6 months in a leadership role
Working Environment
- Work is primarily indoors with some outdoor exposure
- Poll environment with wet and slippery conditions
- Exposure to chlorine, acids, and other chemicals
Physical Requirements
- Must possess the ability to swim distances and dive to pool depths
- Must possess the mobility to stand, stoop, kneel, reach, bend, climb, push and pull materials and equipment
