Duties and Responsibilities:
The Aquatics Lead is responsible for directing lifeguard staff, performing the duties of a Lifeguard, maintaining proper pool chemistry, monitoring operating equipment, and ensuring a clean, safe aquatics facility. This position also involves providing education and enforcing safety regulations for patrons, creating and implementing training for staff and programs, and assisting in scheduling and collecting timesheets for staff.

Essential Functions:
- Direct and supervise lifeguard staff
- Perform the duties of a Lifeguard, including swimming and responding to emergencies
- Maintain accurate records of pool operations and chemical levels
- Monitor and maintain operating equipment, including pumps and filters
- Ensure the pool area is clean and safe for patrons
Working Conditions:
- Work is primarily indoors with some outdoor exposure
- Pool environment with wet and slippery conditions
- May be exposed to chlorine, acids, and other chemicals at aquatics facilities
