Aquatics Lead Job Description:
The Aquatics Lead is a key member of our aquatics team, responsible for directing lifeguard staff, performing the duties of a Lifeguard, maintaining proper pool chemistry, monitoring operating equipment, and ensuring a clean, safe aquatics facility. Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee lifeguard staff
- Perform the duties of a Lifeguard, including swimming and responding to emergencies
- Maintain accurate records of pool operations and chemical levels
- Monitor and maintain operating equipment, including pumps and filters
- Ensure the pool area is clean and safe for patrons
Requirements:
- American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification or equivalent
- American Red Cross Water Safety and Lifeguard Instructor Certifications or equivalent within 6 months of employment
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a lifeguard and 6 months experience in a leadership role
