A PART-TIME TEMPORARY Program Specialist is an essential member of our team, we invite you to apply and help contribute to CNLV'S growing success! Please thoroughly review the information and selection process outlined below this announcement.
ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

- Part-Time / Temporary Position - This position is a part time / temporary position and DOES NOT include health or medical benefits. Hours for this position will not exceed 938 per calendar year.
- Pay Considerations - The hourly pay for this position is $14.00
- Work Schedule - This position is scheduled to work Varies, (may be working an average of 18 hours per week during off season and 40 hours during summer season - May through September). You must be able to work any shift (days, swings, or graveyard), any day of the week, to including weekends, holidays, and overtime. Hours will not exceed 935 per calendar year.
- Environment - Heavy Work : Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and / or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50
- pounds unassisted. The worker is subject to both environmental conditions : Activities occur inside and outside.
THE ROLE
Under direct supervision, independently carries out programs for both indoor and outdoor parks and recreation activities. Works directly with program participants in a physically active recreation program environment. Recreation program assignments are varied and may include early childhood, aquatics, golf course, sports (adult and youth), class instruction, seniors, mobile recreation, special events, safekey (before and after school - elementary youth), and day camp.
