Major Job Function
Responsibilities :
- Assist in coaching and supervising youth golfers
- Teach basic golf skills, including grip, stance, swing, putting, and etiquette
- Lead drills, games, and friendly competitions to engage players
- Ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere for all participants
- Set up and clean up equipment before and after sessions
- Provide encouragement and constructive feedback to players
- Work closely with other coaches and program staff
- Serve as a positive role model for young athletes
- Attend coaching education session(s)
Minimum Requirements for Position
Must be 16 years of age or older and have knowledge of golf.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience teachingThe First Tee PGA curriculum. Enjoy teaching elementary age kids.
Supplemental Information
Under general supervision, ensures a fun and educational experience for elementary age kids. Teaching the basics of golf and golf etiquette. Hours would be approximately 12 hours per week for three sessions.
This position is not eligible for benefits.
