What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Specialist position at City of North Myrtle Beach?
General Statement of Job
High-energy individual to assist the staff in the implementing of programs and activities in one or more of the following areas: afternoon school programs, adult and youth programs, special events, and community activities. Handles people-oriented situations with staff and patrons in a pleasant, tactful and professional manner. Possess the ability to act in a dependable manner by meeting schedules and deadlines, adhering to policies and procedures and maintaining a safe environment. Work hours will be 12-16 hours per week. Must have the ability to work a varied schedule of day time, evening, & weekend hours.
Minimum Training and Experience
Must be 16 years of age. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Previous experience in special events, day camps and youth activities are preferred, but not required.
