What are the responsibilities and job description for the Employee Navigator position at City of North Myrtle Beach?
General Statement of Job
Under general supervision, provides administrative and operational support to the Beach Services Concessions and Lifeguard Divisions. Assists employees with navigating the hiring process to include assisting new J-1 hires with obtaining Social Security Cards, bank accounts, or other legal documents related to work. Assists with employee recruitment and retention efforts. Schedules, plans, and executes a daily itinerary based on needs of both departments. Provides transportation and assists with workforce needs of seasonal employees as directed by management. Performs various other duties such as answering phone calls, delivering beach wheelchairs, preparing reports, maintaining records and charts along with utilizing necessary software as directed.
Minimum Training and Experience
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to operate a transport van
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Physical Requirements
Tasks involve the ability to physically be able to operate a variety of automated office machines which include a computer and copier. Must be able to exert up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for periods of time. Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of ten to forty pounds.
