What are the responsibilities and job description for the Irrigation Technician position at City of North Myrtle Beach?
Under general supervision installs, maintains, and programs automatic irrigation systems within parks, landscapes, athletic fields, and other municipal properties. Performs in a professional environment where customer service is paramount.
Must be physically able to operate a variety of equipment including tractors, mowers, landscaping equipment, etc. Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 75 pounds of force frequently, and/or 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to climb, reach, crawl, bend, stoop, etc. in the performance of job duties. Physical demand requirements are those for Medium Work to Heavy Work.

| Experience: | Three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in golf course or landscape irrigation maintenance |
