What are the responsibilities and job description for the CORRECTIONS OFFICER LATERAL TRANSFER position at City of North Olmsted?
The North Olmsted Civil Service Commission invites qualified applicants to apply for a lateral transfer position of Corrections Officer.
Applicants may obtain an application beginning Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at the North Olmsted Police Department, 27243 Lorain Road or North Olmsted City Hall, 5200 Dover Center Road; City Hall hours are Monday-Friday from 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm. Applications must be hand delivered to the Police Department, 27243 Lorain Road by February 19, 2025.
Candidates will be required to successfully pass all pre-employment requirements; including but not limited to, drug testing, medical exam, polygraph test, and a background investigation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- U.S. Citizens and those persons having declared their intention of becoming U.S. Citizens (documentation required)
- Age 21 and over
- Valid driver's license
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Current certification as a Corrections Officer
