DEFINITION:
The Northampton Parks & Recreation Department is seeking pool lifeguards!ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Lifeguards are certified in Red Cross Lifesaving and CPR and monitor swimming areas to protect life and promote a safe environment. Assist in pool opening and closing; safe equipment use and cleanup; if necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required: A current Lifeguard Certification with CPR/AED and First Aid.
Must be at least 16 years old.Physical Requirements:
Must be able to swim.Personable demeanor.

The Aquatic & Family Center is located at the JFK Middle School.$17.10 per hour - Pool Lifeguard
$19.50 per hour - Morning Lifeguard
There are no benefits with this part-time position.
