What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Supervisor for Adult Basketball position at City of Northampton, MA?
DEFINITION
The Site Supervisor for Adult Basketball assures that a site for a program run by the Parks & Recreation Department is opened equipped cleaned up and closed if applicable.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Make sure site is open before program begins.
2. Make sure all necessary equipment is brought and put out for use.
3. Address any concerns of coaches/parents brought to his/her attention.
4. Report any incidents/issues to Recreation Supervisor.
5. Sometimes the Site Supervisors are actively engaged in the activity at hand.
6. Collect all equipment at end of program.
7. Close/secure site at end of program.
8. Any other task that supervisor requests that is specific to a particular program.
Physical Requirements:
Must be physically able to arrive at site; carry and place all equipment necessary to the program in it's proper place; participate fully; if required; in the program; and clean up and close the site.MISC. INFORMATION:
Must be 18 years old.
The position is one day a week
There are no benefits with this part time position.
