What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Cashier (Kiwanis Pool) position at City of Northglenn?
The City of Northglenn is in search of dynamic, well-qualified, and organized candidates for the role of Cashier. Reporting to the Recreation Coordinator, the successful candidate will be tasked with the daily operations at Kiwanis Pool.
This position is a seasonal position for greeting patrons and guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Other work includes accepting payment for use of the swimming pools and for selling items from the concession stand.
The employee will be required to work varied hours during the week including evenings and weekends.
This position monitors activities at Kiwanis Pool which will include operating a point-of-sale system, ensure that safety is maintained by observing customers, enforce rules and regulations, perform basic cleaning duties at the, handle cash transactions, all while providing excellent customer service.
Schedule will vary between the hours of 9:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. approximately 20-30 hours per week Monday – Sunday.
Must be able to work through August 11th with the possibility of working weekends through September.

· Prior public customer service experience and cash handling highly desirable.
· Knowledge and experience with computers preferred.
· Most of the work is done in an enclosed outdoor pool office.
