What are the responsibilities and job description for the GENERAL MAINTENANCE - STUDENT SUMMER EMPLOYMENT position at City of Norwich?
General Description:
Duties include (but are not limited to): Mowing brush, cutting, painting, general maintenance and building maintenance.Qualifications:
- Previous experience with lawn care (ability to operate lawn mower; weedwacker; etc.) is preferred; but not required.
- Experience operating vehicle with small trailer preferred; but not required.
- Candidates must be enrolled full time in school (12 ) credits for the Fall of 2025
- Valid driver’s license required.
Important Information
- In order to be considered applicants must demonstrate on their application that they meet the minimum qualifications as stated in the job announcement.
- Dates of possible employment will be from May12th - August 29th.
- Candidates will be allowed 5 unpaid planned vacation days.
- Preference will be given to previous NPU summer employees and Norwich residents.
