About Novato Gymnastics
Novato Gymnastics is a program and facility of the City of Novato Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department. The Novato Gymnastics Center is home to children of all ages and the Novato Gymnastics Team. The Gymnastics Center offers quality instruction in one of the best equipped training facilities in the entire Bay Area. Seeking Part-Time Preschool, Recreational and Pre-Team Coaches
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Gymnastics Instructors to join our team! ideal candidates will have gymnastics coaching experience and ongoing availability a minimum of two days per week, including Saturday mornings.
Duties
- Providing safe, quality gymnastics instruction. Teaching gymnastics classes, camps and special events.
- Practicing effective class management. Group sizes of up to 9 children.
- Implementing gymnastics curriculum and developing lesson plans.
- Setting-up and tearing-down gymnastics equipment. Cleaning and maintaining facility and equipment.
- Enforcing program rules and following safety-measures.
- Communicating program information and policies.
- Developing positive working relationships with co-workers.
Requirements
- Gymnastics Coaching Experience (1 yr preferred)
- Gymnastics coaching experience preferred, but not required. If you have a background in dance, cheerleading yoga, martial arts or similar, we can train you!
- Experience working with children. Strong background in childcare or experience working with children in a physical education setting or similar.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.70 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 15 per week
