Job Summary :
This position is responsible for providing supervision, instruction, and ongoing assistance to the camp counselors and camp directors. They will be overseeing a group of camp counselors, ensuring the safety and positive experience of their assigned campers by leading activities, managing camper behavior, coordinating with other staff, and providing mentorship to junior counselors. All this while upholding all camp safety protocols and policies; essentially acting as a primary point of contact for counselors within the camp program.

FLSA : Hourly, non-exempt
Employment Type : Seasonal, PT
Pay : 16-$17 / hr

Essential Duties / Responsibilities :
- Create a nurturing, positive, and professional environment while following program policies and procedures.
- Gather and organize materials needed for days activities.
- Assign / oversee staff tasks.
- Responsible for signing out all campers to their parents at noon and after camp (until 6 : 00pm)
- Provide supervision and assistance to all campers and staff.
- Follow camp protocol regarding behaviors.
- Primary point of contact when directors are not there.
