WHAT DOES A INSTRUMENTATION / SCADA TECHNICIAN DO?

As a new Full-Time Instrumentation / SCADA Technician with the City of O'Fallon, you will engage in a variety of essential tasks daily. Expect to troubleshoot and maintain instrumentation systems, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and effectively. You'll be responsible for monitoring SCADA systems, analyzing data, and providing timely reports to enhance city operations.

Collaboration will be key, as you'll work closely with engineering teams to implement innovative solutions and upgrades. Regularly calibrate equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, you'll conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
