The City of O'Fallon is looking for energetic and dependable team members for the position of Seasonal PT Festival Aide. Our Seasonal PT Festival Aides enjoy a flexible schedule along with a fun work environment and earn competitive pay with an expected starting rate of pay of $14.40 - $15.00 hourly.
As part of our Festivals and Tourism Department, this position plays an important role in the preparation, organization and management of festivals and special events hosted by the Tourism and Festivals Division.
As a Seasonal PT Festival Aide, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Working at various special events including setting up, tearing down and acting as Manager on Duty when assigned
- Assisting in the preparation and set up of festival and event grounds for city-sponsored festivals and events
- Assisting with researching and preparing for festivals and events, such as our Heritage Freedom Festival and Celebration of Lights
- Assisting vendors during events
- Assuring displays are in working properly, taking corrective action when necessary
- Providing information and top notice customer service to patrons
We're looking for someone who is reliable and willing to contribute ideas that support our festivals and special events team that has previous basic cash-handling experience. Experience and working knowledge with MS Office products is required. This position works outdoors on rough, uneven terrain in all weather conditions. Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays is required.
