Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Facilities Helper to join our team at the City of Orono. As a seasonal maintenance worker, you will perform a wide range of moderately complex repair, construction, and public works maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate various types of equipment and hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Provide maintenance services in streets, parks, water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, or buildings.
- Lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently and possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
Benefits
The hourly rate for this position is $14 per hour.
This is a seasonal employment opportunity from April to September.
