The Oshkosh Public Library is seeking a full-time librarian for our Youth Services Team whose talents, knowledge, and skills will spark a love of reading and learning in the children and families of the Oshkosh community. We’re looking for a librarian who has experience supporting the literacy needs of families and educators; can develop innovative programs that inspire; and embrace creative ways to connect with children and families. Our ideal candidate will be tuned in to library trends and community needs, eager to adapt to new technologies and adept at building positive relationships with patrons, community partners and peers. While the primary focus of this position will be younger children, there will be some involvement in services for teens.
This is a full-time position that includes evening and weekend hours. Oshkosh Public Library provides a full range of services to 82,000 area residents from a historically significant building. Oshkosh is situated in east-central Wisconsin, on the western edge of Lake Winnebago.
