Lifeguard 1-Seasonal

The City of Overland Park has a Lifeguard 1-Seasonal position available for Spring/Summer 2025 in the Parks and Recreation Department.

Summary

Observes and protects the patrons of the City's public swimming pools. Enforces pool rules of safety, guards swimmers and rescues swimmers in danger of drowning or other aquatic emergency. Attends mandatory training classes.

Requirements

• Basic education equaling 8th grade and a minimum of 15 years of age.
• Completion and certification through Starguard in the Starguard Lifeguard Course through the City of Overland Park.

Pay Rate: $15.25 Per Hour
