The City of Overland, Missouri, Department of Parks & Recreation presently has a position open for a Seasonal Worker / Parks Department.
Under the direction of the Parks Superintendent, the individual selected for the position will perform routine manual work and operate other small equipment. This is a part time seasonal position with a preferred start date of Monday, June 2, 2025 and ending no later than October 1, 2025. Compensation: DOQ/E EOE.
Minimum qualifications are as follows: U.S. Citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker, possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), and must have a valid Missouri driver’s license. Preferred candidates will have at least one (1) to three (3) years of related work experience outdoor maintenance or landscaping.
The individual shall possess the ability to load and unload material or equipment, operate a riding mower, operate a push mower and all hand held lawn equipment, dig holes and trenches, and perform maintenance work in landscaping. Assist in grounds cleaning, maintenance, or custodial duties to park buildings and City properties, and any other duties assigned.
