ROADWORKER
Performs various construction and road work duties, such as working with asphalt, dirt, concrete; Helps with maintenance of street and traffic signs; Helps concrete crews form, place and finish concrete; Drives/operates various equipment/vehicles; Loads trucks; Transports construction materials; Performs minor maintenance on heavy trucks; Performs snow and water removal. Starting pay $20.20/hr. Provided benefits include but are not limited to; health insurance, group life insurance, wellness program, and CERS retirement through Kentucky Retirement Systems. Paid time off includes; vacation, sick time, and holidays (for eligible employees).
QUALIFICATIONS (Required at time of application):
- High School Diploma or GED, and
- 6 months work-related experience in road work, general labor, as an equipment operator, or similar position
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid CDL, Class B or higher, required after hire
Equivalent amount of education and/or full-time work experience is acceptable.
