What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Pooled Aquatics (Pool Cashier) (5 positions) position at City of Pasadena, TX?
Duties: The Pool Cashier position is a seasonal position with the City of Pasadena Parks & Recreation Department. (internal & external). Greets customers and processes cash and credit card transactions. Answer customer inquiries. Assists Manager and Assistant Manager with opening and closing procedures. Cleans register, counter tops, display shelves, tables, etc. at assigned station. Handles any questions or concerns customers may have and directs to appropriate staff member, if unable to answer or satisfy customer/patron. Responsible for supplies needed to perform duties at assigned station. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to City of Pasadena and Departmental policies. Must work effectively and efficiently, tactfully, and pleasantly with co-workers and the general public. Actively participate in daily tasks, serving as a positive role model for staff and participants at all times. Shall perform all other related duties as assigned. Required Work Days/Times/Hours: Cashiers may work up to a 40-hour week, depending on the work site. Additional training may be added at the discretion of the Strawberry Office. Must have and maintain, without interruption, all necessary licenses, certifications, clearances, and/or job requirements. Works the assigned schedule and complies with the City's timekeeping and attendance policy.
