Fire Engineer Annual Salary : $76,062.60 - $101,931.12 Engineer $83,958.84 - $112,512.84 Engineer Paramedic The City of Patterson is looking for an exceptional Fire Engineer. Under the supervision of the Fire Captain, the Engineer performs all the duties of a Firefighter and is responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of fire vehicles, apparatus, and equipment. Performs other duties as required. This is a journey-level Engineer classification performing a full range of technical, firefighting, and emergency medical services work. The ideal candidate in this classification must exhibit composure and good situational awareness on emergency scenes to effectively respond to, support, and communicate with crews while serving as either primary operator of apparatus and / or equipment or secondary on-scene support. An individual in this classification must also work effectively as part of a unit during emergencies, represent the Department professionally at public service / education events, and interact cooperatively with other City personnel.
