Annual Salary $86,885.25 up to $105,609.60 DOQ
The City of Patterson’s Public Works Department is seeking to fill one (1) Management Analyst position for Administration and Regulatory Compliance division. The highly qualified person in this position will perform a wide variety of professional, administrative, analytical and management support activities primarily in the areas of Water Resources and Flood Plain Management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : assisting with the developing, implementing and administering of regulatory & environmental programs; assisting with contract management, financial management, grant coordination; preparing and presenting comprehensive complex technical and analytical reports with analysis and recommendations; performs other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess related experience in water resources, FEMA, high-level administration, including outreach and education, water conservation programs, and project management. They should be familiar with state laws and regulations such as SB1383, AB1881, AB341, AB1826, SB205, etc. Additionally, they should possess strong customer service and computer skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to manage contracts, grants, loans, as well as, develop and administer a budget.
Minimum Qualifications :
Education : Equivalent to a BA / BS degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Business or Public Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience : Two (2) years of progressively responsible administrative, analytical, and technical experience in a public agency.
License or Certificates : Possession of a valid California Class C Driver's License at the time of appointment.
