About the Position
We are seeking a highly qualified Deputy Director for the Engineering department who can provide strategic leadership and direction to our team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and experience in planning, organizing, directing, supervising, and coordinating departmental functions and engineering activities.
Responsibilities include overseeing the planning, budgeting, design, construction, and maintenance of the Capital Improvement Program, managing the Engineering division activities, providing infrastructure master planning analysts and project planning support, and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with major coursework in civil engineering or a related field
- Master's degree in engineering, public or business administration (highly desirable)
- Seven years of responsible civil engineering experience, with at least three years in a supervisory role in capital improvement, project management, and construction administration
