Job title: Animal Control Officer
Opening Date: March 25, 2025
Closing Date: April 3, 2025
Salary: 17.04 per hr. Entry level
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (Subject to Dept. Director & Supervisor discretion - hours may vary)

Role and Responsibilities:
Responsible for enforcing violations of all city codes and ordinances to ensure the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of the City of Pearsall including the control, health, safety, and the humane destruction of animals.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must have 3- 5 years of experience in related field
OR
- Any combination of related education, experience, certifications and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job
- Must possess a valid Texas Class C Driver's License.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred)
