What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Library Clerk position at City of Pendleton?
The Pendleton Library has an opening for a part-time Library Clerk to work evenings and Saturdays. This position assists library patrons with checking materials in and out, issues library cards, and answers patron questions. Requires good people skills, ability to communicate effectively, precision in alphabetizing, ability to type and use a computer, and physical ability to lift, bend and move books and materials. The ability to speak Spanish is preferred as well as prior public service. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Approximately 17 hours per week, $14.50-$16.31 per hour, limited benefits.
