The Neighborhood and Human Services Department has an exciting opportunity for a Community Services Supervisor to join the team at the William L. Patena Community Center in the heart of the city of Peoria. This position oversees teen programs, adaptive recreation programs, active adult programs, community center activities and offerings and adult day programs licensed by the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES), Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD).

- Mastered the art of problem-solving and conflict resolution, all while honing your exceptional time management and communication skills.

Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field or equivalent. Equivalent years of experience are equal to one (1) year of relevant experience for every one (1) year of education required.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years related experience.
- Obtain and maintain a valid class 1 fingerprint clearance card within 10 days of hire.
- CPR/First Aid certified within 1 year of hire.
- Negative TB test.
- Experience in a municipal or government setting.
- A minimum of three (3) years previous supervisory experience.
- Nationally recognized certificate in Therapeutic Recreation.
- Direct experience working with state licensed programs such as those overseen by the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities.
