The Part-Time Library Aide provides a variety of library support work including activities in the circulation, reference, youth services or technical services area of the library. This is accomplished by providing excellent customer services by exemplifying a positive attitude and exceeding the needs of all patrons. The Library Aide's primary function is stacks maintenance, while assisting with desk coverage when needed in order to provide additional staff support during high volume shifts.

- The ability to sort, shelve and file various materials accurately according to library classification systems in a timely manner.
- The ability to review shelves for accuracy and reshelve misplaced items.
- The ability to answer phones and assist customers with their accounts.
- The ability to assist with a wide variety of activities and special programs
- The ability to continually demonstrate an effort to improve operations decrease turnaround times.
- The ability to work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality customer service.
- The ability to perform administrative tasks as required (complete forms, create reports, documenting transactions etc.)

- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Basic knowledge of the library, customer service, computer and technical skills
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License upon hire
