The Streets Asset Management Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of complex and highly responsible professional, technical, and administrative management support functions. This includes data analysis, coordination, budgetary and financial activities, inventory and asset management, independent research, and recommending improved systems and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the streets asset network and coordinating projects related to capital improvements and department operational needs.
- Collecting and managing data and inventory.
- Coordinating complex projects and developing reports using Excel and various software programs.
- Assisting the project manager in developing projects from design through completion, including budget and scheduling.
- Performing additional related tasks as assigned.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- A strong commitment to public service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience in municipal or government settings

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Two-year college program or equivalent combinations resulting in accumulation of similar knowledge or skills.
- 2 years of experience. Considerable previous experience required in the same or similar previous positions. This job requires a strong knowledge of computer information systems, common and uncommon techniques, concepts, methods, practices, use of forms, routines, etc., of a complex nature.
- Valid Arizona Class “D” Driver’s License upon hire.
