What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Help - Recreation Program Helpers position at City of Perrysburg?
Seasonal position starting June 9, 2025 through July 31, 2025, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., except federal holidays.
Under the direction of the Recreation Director, work with school-age children in various summer day camp activities such as sports camps, crafts, and other activities. Summer Recreation staff members are responsible for the safety of the children, and set up and clean up of activities. Each staff member will plan some of the activities each week in collaboration with other staff members.
All candidates must be 16 years of age by the start of the Recreation Program. Successful candidates will be required to pass a drug test and background check.
CPR and First Aid certifications preferred. All selected candidates will be provided training if not currently certified.
