General Description: The purpose of this class within the organization is to supervise a broad range of maintenance and/or construction tasks. Essential Functions: Leads, inspects, and reviews the work of a crew engaged in a variety of maintenance and/or construction activities.Inspects projects in progress and upon completion.Leads and participates in a variety of maintenance work.Reviews and prioritizes service order requests; schedules work.Assists in developing comprehensive plans to satisfy future needs for services.Ensures that crew members have been trained in the proper use of equipment.Ensures that safety procedures are followed.Assists crew members in the operation of various types of trucks.Responds to emergency situations including snow, flooding, and other emergencies.Investigates service requests and complaints made by the public; explains priorities, programs and policies.Additional Duties: Requisitions necessary equipment and materials.Maintains inventory.Ensures equipment is inspected an in proper running condition.Performs related work as assigned.Responsibilities, Requirements and Impacts Data Responsibility: Data Responsibility refers to information, knowledge, and conceptions obtained by observation, investigation, interpretation, visualization, and mental creation.
