SNOW PLOW DRIVER/EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
40-HOUR WORK WEEK
. The City of Petoskey is currently seeking to fill seasonal Snow Plow Driver/Equipment Operator positions for the 2024-2025 winter season. This is a 40-hour workweek position. Employment for this position will begin approximately the first week of December and continue through March 31, 2025. Minimum qualifications require high school diploma, ability to perform safe and efficient operation of large snowplow equipment, truck, automotive, power-driven equipment, hand tools and possess a Michigan Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
. Starting wage for this position is $26.31 per hour, with one-and-one-half times the hourly rate paid for all time worked in addition to 40 hours per week.

Applicants will be screened based upon applicable qualifications and a small group of finalist candidates will be invited to interview before a panel of City staff members. The Director of Public Works, with approval of the City Manager, will appoint for this position.
