- Pay Schedule through june 30, 2025; Officers will receive a 2.6% COLA July 1, pending Budget approval
- Does not include additional incentive, special assignment, or intermediate/advanced certification pay unless noted
- Lateral Police Officers will be started at a higher pay step based off years of experience

- Intermediate DPSST Certification 4%
- Advanced DPSST Certification 8%
- Annual fitness incentive pay for all officers - not testing score based
- Special Assignment pay 2% per assignment
- Bilingual pay

- Vacation accrual is based on you full years of law enforcement service - you won't have to start over again
- Starting step on the pay schedule is based of years of law enforcement experience - you get compensated for the years you have put into your career

To apply for a Lateral position, you must:
- Be 21 years or older at the time of employment with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Pass a thorough background investigation/medical and psychological exam and drug screening
- Proficiently read and write the English language
- Have completed at least 24 months of full-time paid service as a sworn police officer in a civilian governmental jurisdiction prior to application
