Building Maintenance Supervisor - Phoenix Convention Center

The Phoenix Convention Center is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated professional to join their department as a Building Maintenance Supervisor. This position supervises personnel involved in the maintenance, repair, and remodeling of public buildings.

Responsibilities Include

• Costing efforts.
• Contract supervision.
• Material procurement.
• Administration of a preventive maintenance program.
• Coordination of remodeling schedules with other work sections.
• Conducting preliminary surveys of proposed projects including blueprint evaluation.
  
  
  

Work is performed under the direction of the Building Facilities Superintendent or other supervisor and performance is evaluated on the basis of results obtained.

SALARY

Pay Range $69,492.80 - $102,668.80 annually.

Hiring Range: $69,492.80 - $88,691.20 annually.

Minimum Qualifications

• Five years of experience in building construction or repair.
• Two years of supervisory level experience.
• Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.

• All finalists for positions are subject to a criminal background check applicable to the department or position.
• Some positions require the use of personal or City vehicles on City business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record. Use of a personal vehicle for City business will be prohibited if the employee is not authorized to drive a City vehicle or if the employee does not have personal insurance coverage.

Preferred Qualifications

The minimum qualifications listed above, plus:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
